Description

The Pin Stars are high in the sky as the water wagon lumbers through the Taserela Basin. I ride in the aft of the vehicle, with three of my comrades from our home village of Kaedi, the heat of the day making me drowsy despite the grind of the land frigate moving over the uneven chaparral. We are prisoners; any attempt at escape is impossible.
