Well into the new year already ,2004 went to quick for me , i hope everyone had a good christmas ,and i also hope everyone has a good new year to, im going to aussie in march , so im counting down the days heheh , but i have no spending money yet , lol, so i need to get my ass in gear and get some , well i hope you like my picture ,hair by me and post work well see you, soon friends , by the way does anyone know of any good tutorials on light casting,like surface light , i wanted to do some on my charcter here , but im clueless , i have toxic angels tut , but i cant seem to get it to work , ohh well any tips etc let me know take care all .

Very,very beautiful portrait! I use AutoFX Mystical Lighting for postworking all my images - a tad expensive for a plugin but I swear by it (not at it) ;-) It will cast surface and radial lights, shadows and a whole heap more. They do a 30 day demo version.

Very nice image... and I usually hate postwork. But this is great! Nice job on the hair too. My best advice in lighting is to just play with the controls. Figure out what they do and how they work when you change shadow types & strengths, angle ends, & atmosphere strengths. Don't be afraid to go over 100% with the intensity control when using a spotlight either. All of these features are right there on the panel with all the dials and behind it under the properties tab... I never did find a good tutorial that showed me like picking with them showed me... :) Good luck and very nice pic! - Angel
