Description
I quite liked the grainy quality of this image - so I'll pretned it's not a result of my camera. My first digital image that I am consdering having printed properly. Any comment appreciated.

Saying that however - I have been forced to reduce the quality further to upload the image so it is slightly more grainy than the effect intended...
Great tree, or sre there two of them close together?, where is the location at? As you said the grainy quality is good, but i think i'd love to see it sharpened, too...
The trees are 2 growing together into a single tree. As for the grain I'm afraid that the sky and blur around the branches is caused by the JPG compression. The photo is actually a crop from a larger image and the camera is only 1.3 MPix so whilst the original looks a bit smoother it will never be pin crisp (unfortunately).
beautiful moody shot.. love the grainy texture as well.. gives it movement and atmosphere.. makes one very melancholy.. excellent work.. :) isnt my compostion but would remove the fence,... reguardless love it.. brings out a philosophical mood..:)

Very moody, almost spooky. Not a tree I'd go near on Halloween! :) Nice effect...yes, get it properly printed! I'd go back and get a more zoomed in photo though, it may not print well as is.
