Description

I actually wrote this one yesterday after scanning my hand for the hell of it and hence, image came before poem rather than being created for (or tweaked for) the poem :>
_________________________________________________________________________ The Hand of Fate
If my eyes could read the language of my flesh then I would know all of myself No fortune-tellers required
Palmistry remains a mystery to me I can make no sense of these lines cannot decipher this map of the Divine
If my Fate rests in my own hands I stagnate afraid to choose a path; to burn or scar this tender flesh
I believe that all things happen for a reason though the Universe may choose said reason at any point in time so free will can still exist
So the Hand of Fate may be moved lessons may be carried over to the next turning of the wheel because I hold back now
