Description
Plop, dribble, drabble, and drop
Spatter fog
Falling faster, faster the race
Spitted, spatter a scurrying scatter
Softer, softer, slows the spill
Drizzle, dazzle, fizzle, and frazzle
Tiny pebbles of liquid pop
Clinging while singing sweet melodies
Streaking downwards little tadpoles flow
Creeping, and seeping into the ground below
As if veins, or stems with thorns of a vine
Blots and blobs, clots, and clogs
Dark and dreary thick misty mist
Skies of calm white, dull grey, black fright
A meeting the greeting between day and night
Green they bleed plant of need in desert dry
He came
Mother earth the wish,
From a lover a kiss
Of life
Rain

Thanks to all for your kind words, the sharing of your thoughtseach as if a tiny refreshing blessing of a rain drop. "Warm smiles and sincerest stern but not to stern hugs to all."
I love the fact that rain is not a sad thing for you. Nothing should be a sad thing, especially when it's something from our great mother earth. I remember so much playing in the rain that it will never be a sad thing. Hugs to you, and keep writing.
I love the feel on my face as the rain starts to fall. A good piece well written, I enjoyed the peace that lead me to the end.
This is a perfect poem of rain! I can almost feel it running down my face & back.
