At the very south of Burgundy, in France, there you will find the Charollais (or the Charolais) with its immense green meadows where the herds of white cows feed quietly, queens of the area, the charolaises

How wonderful this rolling countryside is. Less steep than many parts of Scotland, but bigger fields, too. I have heard of Charolais cattle, but there do not seem to be many in the fields. Maybe they are camera-shy!
