A very beautiful and excellent render, Jennie. Love the terrain and surfaces and delicious water, and the mood and overall atmosphere is superb.
The image is good, definitely, and especially in the composition. As for strata, I would try to match the colors a little better. Looks like you're working more with brown and grey here, so the green looks a little out of place. Also, I suggest a smaller strata in general, tighter. It will be less obvious in the preview window, but I find that the best stratas are those that you don't even think about, they're just there. Subtlety is key. Keep going!

I like the POV and the atmo much :) As for the strata... generally it's quite OK, but what sanosoke said is really true... Anyway - I like this picture!

Wonderful work!!! This is a solid B+. The atmo, water, pov are perfect. The composition is very strong. The surfaces need a little fine tuning maybe, as per sanosoke, even so, they are very fine and natural. Can't wait to see more.
Love the proportions of the final pic especially. Looks to me like a painting - I like it very much. Goood work and good comments here.

I like this one, Jennie. The crispness of it all, and the photographic quality are amazing. I have tried beaches, and I do have Strata Generator, but I have not used it yet, in Terragen. One day I will have time, both to view RENDEROSITY and use my rendering programs! Regards, John
