Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

WOW! This is another of your magical images, where I've had to pick my jaw up off the floor after staring at the screen in wonder! I love it Chuck ~ and like gunsan would dearly love to hold that book. Absolutely wonderful artwork. V
Blazing new trails... Very nice, with lots of rewards for those who take some time to study the picture (embossed cross on the skull, female figure in background, figures (?) to the right of thestairs, ace of spades, and the author's/artist's name). The cloth is scrumptous. Another masterpiece.

Chuck's dark side! very nice. I would love to see the graphics that you used for the book just by themselves
That has such a three-dimensional look to it--a really creepy effect for a book cover! What a fantastic illusion!
like that book cover. looks spooky
Really enjoy your collage work Chuck, I find it inspirational... ... I like the lady ascending the tower and the rogue eyes!!! Agree with Duncan... well worth the time to look at your images!.
amazing work...
hey - this is again something different! - i like it - i LOVE the skull and what you did with it... amazing! less colors this time... :) amazing! - perhaps a little remark here: the texture on the back of the book could be "rewored" - the structure doesn't run alon with the books bending... but anyway a really really good job, chuck... gratz!
Great idea ... Excellent picture !
