Description

I entered this to the "Chivalry Lives" writer's contest. I rarely enter contests. Probably because I never place in them *shrug* But feel free to check this out anyway.

Mara winced as she slammed into the large speaker and glared at the solidly built guy wearing a university jacket who was attempting to slam dance while two-fisting some beers.

Great! I can relate to this one. ;)When I was about 40-41 I went to a college town about 3 hours away to do some guest lecturing....I was there for 3 days and had a hotel room near the campus. I met some friends at this bar to listen to a band that we knew. I 'ran into' a bouncer who was about 6'9"/350 lbs who wanted to see my ID....I could not stop laighing BUT he would NOT let me in to listen to our friends. So, I snuck in the back door with one of the guys from the band....guess who shows up, the bouncer....he had a shaved head and was wearing bib overalls, so me, with the help of a little takillya, called him a Nazi farmer....well the big'un squared off against all 5'4"/115lbs of me and I was NOT backing down....ended up with the police coming and we all had to discuss the problem outside....I ended up back in the bar LOL....glad I don't do sh*t like that anymore :D BTW V

(Since my comment was overwritten) Wow, Modern day chivalry is indeed very different than its ancestor. As always, you managed to paint a very vivid scene! they are posted on the rim website at http://www.renderosity.com/contest.ez?contest_id=416

This is great! You have a unique style. But I must say, I'm a bit curious as to how it turns out with the damsel and the knight....lol. Excellent job! ~Heather~
