Yet another masterpiece -- and some mysteries. Is it the dawning of the day or is the gal's name "Dawn"? Two frames -- with pictures spilling over both. And is that a red figure of some sort in the frame behind the woman's face? And is she melting in the sunlight? Lot's of room for mental exploration here, coupled with masterful technique. A stunning still life. Very nice colours. The drapery is just amazing. The way the light flows into the dark chamber is wonderful. The way the woman emerges from a kind of smoke and is being caught on canvas in the same time - this shows great talent.
