Description
Medium: Acrylic
Substrate: 9x12 Hardboard canvas
Inspiration: My uncle worked for the Rockwell Corp and my kid hobby of rocketry blossomed into High Power Rocketry. Couldn't help but want to pay homage to Dr. Robert Goddard.
I did this as a portrait study from an existing publication piece from the 60's. Per my discipline, I sketched it out on the old rigid standard of gridlines and performed the task at hand.

American heros - an interesting guy. Pretty neat portrait, however the collar seems like to high a value for rest of face. Like how you used the edges of image area.
