Great pic! Soft wood, put in by someone working by the hour with an electric screwdriver(thus didn't care), put in after the wood was weathered(for the photograph?), put in by someone ignorant of washers and their uses, etc. etc. etc. Salt air? Treated wood?

It somehow gives personality to the screw.. like it is hiding from smthg.. Keen eye you have!
