Description
Back in October 2002 I created a series of four similar works under the theme title "The Dreamers" and have always personally favoured the second and third images, finding them the two most successful.
For the purposes of bern's ART DIGITAL 2004 exhibition I decided to combine these two into a new image in its own right, so the other two wouldn't be needed ;-)
Assembled and edited in Photoshop 7 and Painter 8.

Thos has a hot drippy atmosphere. As if we're in a mine or something where they're trying to find liquid gold. Thefigure in the middle looks like some yellowish lil animal with big goggles who's sleeping... and crying and drooling ;)

Curiously, it's like an update of those flemish masters where the models are illuminated by a single light source like an open fire. A distressing and powerful work.

The dreamers is a great composition, quite intimate and warm. Here you have intensified the golden light with a wonderful result! Good luck with the exhibition! It is great to see these resurrected images, you give old works a warmer softer feeling, they come closer to the viewer in feelings than the original ones.
