In my opinion it is too colourfull - it dosn't seem menacing enough. Though the overall design looks very good.
turned out quite nicely..
Like it but it does remind me of the famed Spider ATS or whatever its called. You could also break the symmetry by rearanging those front sensors a bit.
cool, very dave wilson-esque.......and thats not a bad thing, lol but i do hate ball joints :)
Thanks all for the critiques :) I've had fun modeling it, and about pulled my hair out rigging all of it. I guess I should have picked something a little simpler for my first rigged animation...didn't want to do the bouncing ball (laugh) And yes, Dave Wilson did inspire this..just something about robot spiders...I dunno . Thanks again!
have you ever seen bubblgum crash. there is a spider style war machine in that, with a grappling hook arm or something. it attacks these generals in a secure room by climbing out of a bigger hall, and because of the scale of it, it can just stick one big foot deep into the wall, and then tear away at the roof and wall to open up a room like a tin can. just thought you might need some 'scary' ideas. or the one from ghost in the shell that shoots wildly as it moves. or...
Outstanding!
I like it, whats it look from the other sides?
Volk...It looks like to does from the front right now.. I haven't finished putting together the whole body yet, but working on it :)
good job man, but like volk, i'd have to say i'd like to see it from a different view, the leg on the left that is up close, is a little over powering, i think it's good, but when your done, lets see it from a different view.....
