I think this is a Heartsease..or as we call them in Sweden...Stepmothers' violet. But don't take my word for it! Because I'm not sure :-). I really should get an flora encyclopaedia :-)

Oh my... what a lil beauty! Great shot!
A lovely delicate flower. It's called "bratek" in Polish, which means 'little brother'... :)

We call them "viooltjes" in Holland, translated to english that would be "Violins". Beatiful shot, i love your work !!! Thanks for all the comments !

Ohhh, those colors are gorgeous.. beautiful =)
what lovely colour and dof...I love hearing what flowers are called in various languages...problem is, I'm awful with plant names!
Violet, pansy and in German 'Stiefmterchen' and many other appropriate names in other languages though the Swahili name might be quite unknown. They are wonderful flowers appearing on the coast, in the swamps, high in the mountains and even in gardens :)
simply gorgeous color & dof! outstanding shot :]
I've always known it, and me, as a pansy. :) Fantastic colors my friend and a beautiful flower! :)
