This arch is in Gunnersbury Park in Acton.
It has been a part of many the adventures that take place in my head.

It may be pointless now, but I suspect it was once part of something quite wonderful..I wonder. It's a very beautiful photo you have taken of it, wonderfully clear and sharp, an excellent shot !!!!
Seems to be this door used to have a point somewhere long ago. Now it just makes a very interesting and pretty arch!
Wonderful shot! The only places i've seen such doorways are churces, monastery's and chapels :P It might have been one of those before! Not so much the doorway that intigues me as much as what used to be attached to the doorway!
