After two long renders, that where really ugly, I tried something different. I wanted to create an almost empty picture. I even thought of a series "Hommage

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has definite wow factor!! Well done!! I love the simpleness of this and your 3 distinct areas of sky land and barren bit. The colours set each other off and the texture is awesome and your overall contrast is just right.... I think you nailed it!!

This reminds me of the Great Salt Lake Flats in Utah. They test automobiles here. You have done a wonderful job on this Jens; excellent work.

It's hard not to make comparisons. There is a certain style of photography that concentrates on this type of scene. I think Ray Manley is a photographer who does this often. I really like it and am starting to make photographs like that myself from time to time. This image is a very good example of the genre.
