This was Rendered in Maya 2.5 but modelled in MAX 4.0 so I suppose it really belongs in the MAX section.

hey man this is pretty damn cool.
What first got my attention was the title, since it's a Finnish word (I don't know what it means in your image though :)... I'm glad I decided to click on the link even though I seldom view images that don't have thumbnails included. This is a fantastic image, very dark, sad and somehow scary - even a bit unpleasant... but yet very artistic, very impressive. One of the best images I have seen here for a while.

Kokko means bonfire. And what a marvelous image you have here. Original, beautiful and sad. Really good work. I rarely rate images, but in this time, its pure 10.

Very artistic. I agree, one of the best Ive seen here. Very hard to find a crit, but if u really want one that white line on the side of his face which runs under the chin could be a little less obvious.

sigh again this is not a 10 rate image, ill give it a 1 to lower the avarge rating, but i think its a 7-9 NOT 10 however. hmm i must say that the eyes look good.
