Description


Sitting on the train the other day in the heat, I thought to myself, I wonder what it must be like walking in between the trains... Must be a rather unnerving experience, having all that weight moving at speed a few centimetres from your body. Thought I'd try capture a feeling of what it is like to stand in the no mans land between tracks.

Wow. This is beautiful. I don't find the concept of a no-mans land scary - I find it liberating. But then as a child I was always seeking out such places in Liverpool, to hide and be alone.

Interesting shot son, but personally I think this pix would have had more impact in done in monochrome. Colour at times softens the tone of the theme. Nevertheless, a thought provoking picture. In my (police trained)mind I see fugitives alighting from one train to board another
