Description
I redid my earlier render, removed some stuff, played with the textures, etc.(Thanks very much for the constructive critisism, pinsonbanzai, although I'm afraid the rocks' milk mustaches are there to stay.) Please comment and criticize to your hearts' content. Happy viewing.

This is a great work! i'm not sure are this snakes on the beach? or is it wood? anyway, the picture looks good cause the lighting and the composition is well done. can feel the sand on my skin...
Looks a bit to hard and flat, in my opinion it needs depth and "softening". Especially det sand.
Oh Boy!! Criticize to my hearts' content!! OK here goes. This is fantastic work...especially the waves, and where the water meets the shore. Very expertly done! And the sand, while it could use a slight texture in the foreground, is very well done too. As for the ripples in the sand and the washed up debris, they look exactly as I have seen them while walking on the beach. I like the milk mustaches on the rocks too as they help to tone down the sharp computer edges that populate so many a computer generated landscape on Renderosity. This image deserves a vote...and gets mine.
Many thanks for the comments and critisism. Tilo, the snakes" on the beach are the ripples in the sand that the waves make at low tide. I used a wood texture, but I'm still playing around with it to see if I can improve it. Perleon, as for the softening, this is a quick remake of my first Bryce landscape ever, so I'm still learning as I go. I don't own any postwork programs of any kind, so I'm messing around with soft shadows and lighting to see if I can fix the problem. Vangogh, thanks for the vote, and everyone else, thanks for viewing.
Personly I think you have done a fabulous job in capturing this beach scene. The water, sand and atmosphere are very well done. Top job. ---- Scott.
Really great Bryce piece! Keep it up!
Vote!! looks like the beach off the Seawall in Galveston early in the morning, without all the nasty seaweed and stuff. Nice work bro.
Ooh, me likey especially the way that 1 peice of seaweed seems to kinda flop over that ripple of sand. How you do that? eh, who cares.Vote!
beautiful work!this is outstanding! excellent mood ! v thank you
I've only been to the beach once, and it looked just like this. What is that clear thing on the left though, a jellyfish, or a huge booger?:-) Eh, I'll vote for this just cause its so cold where I am and I wanna be there.
ingenious in these simpleness - I'm really impressed. My vote.
Mate, this is simply astounding. Everything is great, but I especially like the sky for some strange reason. It fits the mood absolutely brilliantly. you have my vote for this piece, make some more like this if at all possible. Cheers.
Many thanks for the votes, and the comments, as always. I haven't been able to do any work lately, partly from a bad case of creative block, combined with some personal crises, but hopefully, I'll be able to submit something soon.
I agree with yoro, this is ingeniously simple. I'll give you my vote for this piece, simply because, if you were telling the truth, this is your first bryce landscape. Wow.
Very beautiful landscape ! Really an very creative and original style. Excellent artistic concept ! "my vote" Congratulations !
YOUR FIRST!!! WTF R U TALKIN ABOUT....thats quite AMAZING!!!!!!! You must be joking. () ___ ()
No. not joking...hehe. Really my first, or a remake of my first, to be precise. Thank you for the incredulity though; I'll take it as a compliment.
