Description

This sword is about 4 ft. 4 inches from point to pommel and weighs about 8 pounds. Not easy to carry point forward. Sometimes on Renderosity, I see an image of a fighter with an equivalent length but heavier sword. If his sword is being held or carried as if it weighed no more than a toothpick ... well, it makes me wonder. The original image was taken with a Nikon Coolpix 4300; available light. The original background was removed in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (with an annoying amount of effort!) I appreciate each and every comment that is made -- progress depends on criticism as well as praise.

I've got a very similar sword - infact, I had to check to make sure it wasn't the same. This looks good, but the light on the base looks different then on the rest of the blade. I also think making the image smaller would hide the cut out edge.
