this is the site to get over 1000 copyrigth free photos of the civil war http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/cwphtml/cwphome.html The is the U.S>S. Monitor [James River, Va. Deck and turret of U.S.S. Monitor seen from the bow (i.e. stern)] I color this black and white as you see because that is the way history is coloiful but cover in fog for many parts of history is gone forever like what and why people did what they did and for what reason thank you for looking and leaveing your veiws on the subject

I'm in the process of creating a model of the Monitor to be used in Bryce and this is one of the pictures I'm using for details of the turret and it is one of my favorites of the ship. You've done it justice! :o)
