America believes herself good mother to all of the world, she is fighting to keep all of her children safe from terror, this picture shows the proud mother as a low class bimbo after a hard days work, she is singing with joy about her success. To her child (the world) she is not so glamorous.
Interesting. So, what is your very own standpoint? Oscillating between fierce pride and uneasyness? The symbol of mother and child is an interesting one. Indeed many politicians and analysts share this perception. As for myself, I prefer the picture of a grand family of roughly 200 siblings. Among who America is undoubtedly the strongest. Recently Bush branded the UN as irrelevant. Yesterday he urged the rest of the world to join the show in Iraq which America can apparently no longer run alone.
