---------- Poachers were unwelcome in Torryn's Wood... Most were wise enough to stay well clear. But these, obviously attracted by the prize specimens, dared to enter. Dared to capture one of his charges. One of his children... He had raised that wolf from a cub after its mother died...taught it how to stalk, how to hunt...how to be a wolf...and now he was in danger. Torryn picked up the poacher's trail easily enough. They wouldn't get far, even lightly loaded. Torryn could run for days without rest, forage food in the barest field, find water in the driest desert. And he despised failure. The hunt begins... ----------
