Description

I missed the deadline for the July Challenge. Gull by Digital I Designs Thanks to sittingblue - who explained the finer points of Vue. I would never have attempted this challenge without his words of wisdom.

Ahh, now THAT'S a real pic. I can hear the seagull and my body wants to run further away from the water before that wall o' water gets here. Very well done. ;=]

WOW! Thank you all for your comments. I just can't believe that I was able to convey the 'watercolor' look to this scene. I spent a lot of time reading the posts on anti-aliasing and tested it out. This is the result: anti-aliasing turned off. Exactly what I was looking for.

Well, I kind of like the sun on the rocks, and the nice wave touches around the rocks, myself! Excellent work BillyGoat. I could not have done this with my own wave. Beautiful composition and outstanding lighting!
