Description

London, England, 802,701 A.D. This came out as a result of the Monday Night Challenge at the ZBrushCentral forum. This bi-weekly challenge was head modelling. I thought I'd do an interpretation of Weena from H.G. Well's "The Time Machine". The head started out as a cubical skin. I multi-marked together a cube for the head and a smaller cube for the head and then I polymeshed them together and made a cubical skin out of them. I smoothed the cubical skin a couple of times and finished modelling my head from there. The body is a ZSphere object and the clothes were modelled from a copy of the same body ZSphere object. The hair was done with the snakehook brush and then further enhanced via post-work in ZBrush after baking the image. I used the smudge brush and the simple brush with the "color once" option selected in the picker pallette and the highlighter brush to add the highlights to the hair. (Edit: Made some slight changes to the mouth area after some critiquing on the CGTalk forum)

I am still enjoying this one WO. Major right clicking action as she is saved in my files. Your style, the coloring, lighting, fabric to die for and the hair all work harmoniously together. Top notch work.
