Journal Entry 3 Today gave me more than I could have imagined. I set out early in the direction of the yellow star. It is easily twice the size it was yesterday. I can only hope that its fury has peaked or lies far from this galaxy and will not be arriving here. By mid-day I could see the familiar, outer ring of a Stellar Voyager shadowed against the growing light. Its decorative hub made it appear like a giant medieval Rose Window fallen from some celestial church. The pilots must have followed my logic and thought the heads to be an island. For what felt like hours I walked towards it with no sign of life to spur me on. Upon arrival I discovered a droid floating face up near a blown hatch. It looked like a 960, an experimental model combining human parts. As near as I could figure she must have died immediately after the crash and was being held in stasis by the same force that kept my hunger at bay. I called out but no one answered. Cautiously I entered the hatch and made my way through the winding travel tube to the bridge. There I found much the same situation I had encountered on my drone. The instruments were all frozen.
