*in pitch dark i go walking in your landscape. broken branches trip me as i speak. just because you feel it doesnt mean it's there. just because you feel it doesnt mean it's there. there's always a siren singing you to shipwreck. (don't reach out, don't reach out) steer away from these rocks we'd be a walking disaster. (don't reach out, don't reach out) just because you feel it doesn't mean it's there. (there's someone on your shoulder) there there why so green and lonely? heaven sent you to me. we are accidents waiting waiting to happen. we are accidents waiting waiting to happen.* Radiohead, "There There", From album "Hail To the Thief" --------------------- Photoshop, 4 layers, 40 minutes work (but 6 failed trials before this came out ;)) from these pictures of mine -------------------- So, for once I wanted to try something dark ;). Not really fitting my way to be, or my days now, but a sense of living that was deeply, so deeply mine by time of my teenager days. Years after, even trying to catch always the bright side in life, I still walkin aware in the world because I know what means to suffer and to be scared for real, since my VERY first day here, I did feel landed and lonely. Then love reached me out, still, in so many ways. Growin means also to accept without drama the darker side of life. Knowing we're stronger, always stronger than it. The piece is also an homage to the awesome UK band Radiohead, whose fabulous gig I attended this past July 9th in Florence. An experience that I wish to you all to live as soon as possible. Their songs are way more than words (or this image) could describe. Enjoy you all (though it feels strange to say so for such an image ;)) and see you on Monday... I will attend a new marriage, and having a great weekend in Rome. CU in three days! :)

Excellen image Meli ^_^ che dire sei fantastica il tuo stile le tue composizioni, sono sempicemtne affascinanti, esplorano l'animo umano attraveros molteplici forme e colori, e riescono a rendere queste emozioni in maniera fantastica. I Did a work and titled it DECADENCE - Also my first attempt at doing something Dark - I was unsure - But posted it non-the-less - So I will quote to you a comment I recived on it from a friend mentor and cutting edge Artist - Which in my mind say's it real - " It is superb - But rather too beautiful for the dark side " - Not what I wanted to hear - I realize this was more of a compliment than I deserve - Sometimes I can see myself clearer thru the eyes of another - As you see there is much respect for your work - It is that respect my comment is born from - Although it is only my opinion -

Hey Meli! This is abstract mystery. One must look already very exactly and look to discover a lot of details. This is a good thing too. I love pictures where not everything is evident at first sight! In addition, I like the explaining descriptions to your pictures! Very well done!

This is good PS work. I don't agree with some of the above comments in regards to the color scheme. Green is not evil, man has perceived it as such. Most nature is green in color(at least out here in WA ;-). I have a hard time thinking of you as a bad person because you are so kind. I am happy you have changed then it this was the case. You/this is inspiriational to me, and I understand and relate to your commentary very well. -Peace/Love :-)

Cool colors and composition,I love the dark feel in this one,nice image and Yeah,Radiohead Rocks I also saw them live and it was a great experience. I got a musical tip for you,try the pixies if you got time they make great music with great lyrics,Rock on Meli.
