Description

This is a test image of my plugin "DShade.p" for Lightwave 5.6. The scene contain only the model of glass, a poly for the floor and a white rectangular poly, no special textures, only "math"! I have write "DShade.p" because LW is bad in rendering transparent object (no fresnel effect,no index of refraction < 1, ecc...). Even the 7.5 version is bad too (total internal reflection is calculated but the result is wrong!!!!!!!)

Good work, very realistic! I also recognized the bad transparent rendering of Lightwave. Would you mail me your plug in?

Hook me up with that plugin too! I wish I had it for my last pic. That glass looks as good as a photograph.

I,ve made a mistake: in LW 7.5 using the "two-object/two-surface" tecinqe all seems to be evaluated correctly! Tnks to > laral <

I've developed DShade.p for LW5.6 and, if I remeber well, it doesn't work in LW7.x (now I've suspended the developing). You can downoald DShade.p from http://web.tiscali.it/dirsoft (my old site, now I can't update or delete it because I've changed ISP!!!)
