Description
This is a still from an animation I did for something to do. I used a procedural shader on the terrain. I caused me lots of grief, there looks like a disease spreading across the land when the camera moves across it. Has this happend to any one else?

i love the feel of this pic, what on earth is the shiny thing on the right??, either way nice work.
Great DOF scene, put some more shadows bellow those objects, it would be better..:)
Yep, this can be fixed with AA in the render globals, but with DOF and that....well...start the batch render and go on vacation. : )))
What is AA? I only used DOF for the still, for the animation I used 2d motion blur and the mech isn't there either.
Thinks its really nice but you shouldnt blur the image so much.It gives me the feeling that all things have the size of an ant
I have the Anti Aliasing up to production level so I don't think it's the problem. It seems to be a bump map LOD thing going on, not sure if it's the way the texture was setup or not. I'll post a pic on the forum highlighting the problem.
Aparently ALOT of work put into your project. Nice job.I really can't have a direct idea on your problem, proceedural shader does do it's thing.I always go for animated texturing. One more thing that Maya tends to blur image files by default as it imports them, you may want set it to zero in the options. Would really like to se the animation of this. Keep it up!
