This image is the beginning of a scene im rendering of a room, the bookshelf looks too shiny and maybe some labels for the books ?

It's going great, the lighting looks really natural. Yes, add lots more detail, booklabels. You could also make the wall a little more detailled. You've compressed this image up to 45k. I would give you the tip of compressing it to atleast 90% Jpeg quality (progressive) for upload, otherwise it's a waste of all your precious renderwork. It's a great beginning, keep it up! ;)

Looks really good. The ideas above are good, plus I would drop field of view centering on the table and chairs. The things in the background are close enough that the amount of blurr present doesn't look natural. The chairs might also be a bit to shiny. It's looking really great. I can't wait to see more posts on this!
