wonderful modeling!!! And the paint job is emaculate!! =)
Actually the model is from the De Espona collection. I modeled some things like bits of the interior, the seats, and the wheels, but that was about it.
I think I need to take it for a "performance test drive"...
O hail to the great car builder
What do you mean by product shot? Please get back to me.
:0 Congratulations! A perfect work.
Thanks jlgarcia :) By product shot I meant it was a rendering for a design firm that deals with cars. They wanted to add 3d to their list of services and the render was for them.
Very well done!!! :o)
I want!!!
fantastic render!
Outstanding materials and model!! ;-) excellent job!
Brillant work!
GORGOUS! Dead on modeling and fantastic texture werke! I'm jealous!
Sweet on just about every level!
Thanks guys... I'm glad you like it :)
Heh, yeah I got it second-hand actually so I only paid half price :)
Did you use a special shader for the surface? Any sub surface scattering? And I really need to know how you modelled those tires.
I used gaffer for the specular paint. You can get similar results with gradients and the like though if you don't have gaffer. G2 I think has even more options. The tires are actually one of the things I did model on the car. But they are quite simple. Just a lathed profile for the tire and then bump maps and dirt maps for the rubber.
