Description

This is the Sturm, Ruger and Company ARP-400 heavy service pistol. It is chambered in .40 Smith and Wesson and equipped with acessory mount, abidextrous magazine release and barrel lock for silencer mounting. Barrel and lock are made of steel, the frame is aluminium wire embedded in fiberglas polyresin. The weapon is completely fictional and my original design. The design is inspired by the HK Mark 23 SOCOM, Walthers P-99 and the HK P-2000. It was made for a cyberpunk roleplaying game weapons collection. If you like this picture, have a look at my gallery ;) What do you think?

Thank you. For me, thats the only thing that counts. If it wasnt, I should be out there killing people instead of making models of guns. Thus I think Ill keep on modelling ;)

Strange that you ask. I was asked that question in the past days a few times. Maybe its time for me to write one myself because everything I know is self taught. Ill let you know when I made one and thanks for your comment!

Heey theres great flaw! (maybe) Barrel extension wich is for fitting warious attachments gets BEHIND front side of frame in bolt back position. Also, in this position guns are ocassionaly photographed with clip out. Wich points to that i dont see clip release button. Great work anyway, searching for flaws just small hobby of mine /maybe big/

The barrel is a blowback recoil absorbing system, thus its perfectly normal to go backwards during slide operation. As the barrel elevates, silencers are kept out of the frame automatically. If you dont see the clip release, you should take a better look. It has a P-99 style ambidextrous clip release buttun right in the base of the trigger guard.
