Description

Ok, Thanks to all the member input. ome things I changed and others I either couldn't figure out how to do it or wanted to leaveit alone. " The changes "::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I added a radial light to the inside of the fire so it could send an orange reflection on the buildings around it ( to give the appearance of real fire light ) I modified the skins for the building to look like a couple of dim lights were on. I changed the textures on some of the buildings and the top of some buildings. And last but not least I changed the chopper blades to give it a spinning look. ---------------------------------------------------any other suggestions or tips. remember no comment is too harsh. thank you!

EXCELLENT!! You have done tremendously well to improve this image. Impressive. I love the lights and the chopper and that fire looks awesome. Excellent work! :)

lookin' good. You have different-textured roofs, which is good (lotsa folks don't remember that..;). Next thing might be to tackle scaling..your small buildings are up close, and the larger ones are further back. For realism, you might reverse that..shouldn't be hard. (You could set fire to just about any of them..;)
last thing, and I'll stop..where there's fire...there's smoke. What I've been experimenting with is taking a cylinder, cone, etc., and texturing it with a volumetric, or cloudlike texture. Not filling the whole thing (i.e. using thick mats, gets obvious), but something a bit wispier..and probably dark, in this case. you're off to a great start, have fun, and don't be afraid to experiment..look forward to more.

You did a great work! The light in the fire makes it all more realistic, now, and the textures on the buildings are just right. As for the smoke, pakled's right. Overall, an awesome improvement in such a short time, really a great job!
