Description

Something simple for now. I actually fell asleep while rendering. When I woke up the next day, it was fully baked. As a firm believer in postwork, I was tempted to work this one, but finally I decided to post it as is. Character imported from Poser, everything else Bryce, only one radial light and no sunlight, my first post without postwork (except for the letters and frame). Thanks for taking time to look.

That's great. Makes me think I've really got to get Poser :-)

I get a slightly indecisive air from the guardian figure, something like should they put the globe in a safe place or keep it exposed to the universe? Beautiful mellow ambience. I have not used any postwork yet! I keep thinking I might as well just paint something. Having said that! It would really help to give my Bryce images a bit more polish. If I ever get around to learning Poser I suppose I will have to do postwork?

Well I have to be honest... This is something of a work of art... Honestly, if I saw this for sale, I'd buy it, have it mounted and put it in my office. Great stuff Alvin!.. Keep it up.

Great piece of work ! Creates a very calming yet somber mood,.....at least for me. I wish I had the imagination to create conceptual works like this.

Don't worry, you made the right choice. It's an EXCELLENT image without postwork, with a beautiful character (I don't love Poser figures, usually). Great colors and DOF as well. Congrats. :o)

Wow Alvin! So beautifully balanced, not a bit overdone, everything's so well composed! The material on the wings is super. Then, in these sad pre-war times, I think the symbolism in it couldn't be more appropriate. And sbleci is absolutely right: no need to postwork this one at all.

I like the focus effect you've achieved with the wings and the background. I can safely say that this was well worth the time you spent on it :)

Rendering, lighting, DOF, atmosphere, idea : everything is excellent, except one in my opinion : textures. I think they are not enough detailled.
