pretty good man. Im a 3ds noob myself but it looks arlight. the paint itself seems to lack a glossy quality, it seems to be a matte finish with shadows. theres also a couple parts that didn't seem to take any color. Thats about all i see. Good work, lot better than i could probably do

Personally Shin, i dont agree, looks to me like the spots that "dont have any color" are reflections. as far as the actual paint goes, i think it looks way real... good job, great reflections

well done man, when rendering a car and trying to show off the car paint remember this simple fact. You are striving for a shiny look thru reflections, however you are missing the key element. Something for it to reflecting against. I can see that it does have reflective properties but it isn't reflecting anything, if you add something to the scene for it to reflect it will improve the 'car paint' look dramatically. I will try to post a example of what i mean in the gallery in the next day or so. But good job man! Definite improvement from when I started watching you! I started on the tutorial for you but realized it was far to intricate and vast for what I wanted to teach you, is there some particular aspect of car modelling or car related CG that you would like me to focus on, like paint or rendering or what? Let me know man! Again Great Job! Enjoy your work as always!

Very nice. The rubber looks great. For a simple glossy effect, you can create a big ol' white plane with white lumination and place it above the car, out of the camera's range. Mess a bit to find a setting you like. It's cheap, and not as nice as reflecting an environment, but it's quick, and resource friendly.

hey, much better than my last car paint. but i still dont really like the way u put out ur renders (ei smal grey plane and white background). wouldnt just the classic brazil plane be better?

Yo Urban! This looks Exelent! Nice paint and all but... Im agreeing with Sabaman, put the final details on the car... Other than that it really does look great! Maybe try making the cars paint metallic, so that when you turn your camera it will change color :) That would be a tight effect!
