Description
For his final labor, Hercules was commanded to descend into the Underworld and capture Cerberus, the monstrous three-headed hound that guarded the gates of Hades. The beast was even more fearsome than legend told, with writhing serpents woven through his dark fur, hissing and coiling with every movement. With the permission of Hades himself, Hercules was allowed to take the creature—but only if he could do so without the use of weapons. Relying solely on his immense strength and courage, Hercules confronted Cerberus, wrestled the savage beast into submission, and brought him to the surface. After presenting Cerberus as proof of his success, Hercules returned him unharmed to the Underworld. This final labor demonstrated his ultimate mastery over fear, death, and the boundaries between the mortal and the divine.

Ein fürchterlicher Cerberus. Mit diesen vielen Schlangen wäre vielleicht eine Flöte nützlich
