Description
In the exhibit they had a model wall of the Titanic and its state underwater.
Diving down to the Titanic, they discovered huge amounts of bacteria and fungi had formed on the ship, looking like icicles of rust, giving it the name 'rusticles'. They are solid but porous, bacteria and fungi in masses forming together with solids.
It is unknown if these organisms are causing the Titanic to erode faster or if they are just present due to the amount of food available. Research is continuing to figure out which is true.

Well, in my Opinon its not "Rusticles" but Ironoxid-III-Hydrate, which is ... a kind of Jelly! "Space-Jelly"? 80
But of course a Metaphor for that nothing will last, but will always turned into something else! :/
Very interesting!
The scientific explanation is very interesting, but I really like the third photo with that wonderful contrast of lights!
Thank you!
