Description

I decided to go back to basics. I haven't done pure terrains in a while, also gave me an opportunity to experiment with lights and Xfrog trees. The bottom pics are bloopers (frustrated renders). Thanks for viewing. Trees I made with Xfrog. The other stuff with Bryce. The sky is just an imported 2d. The streaming lights are just what they are except that I applied a little yellow Color Dodge sparingly about the area. Postwork with Photoshop. Thanks for viewing.

And then God said, "Let there be LIGHT!" Excellent lighting, it adds alot of effect to the picture. The way you ordered the pictures on bottom makes it seem that the light came in gradually, like in a comic strip.

While praise has already been given to the amazing lighting, I just have to say that I'm loving the clouds... and the patch of sky you left visible! Uplifting and definitely full of "Hope"!

I will trade you a fog for the rays in the beams of light!!...??? When the standard is excellence, the result is always perfect and uplifting, and a goal for others to shoot for. Joyfully, I look forward to the future......

Too bad the highest ranking is only a paltry Excellent as this image deserves so much more. You are truly a talented artist. I remove my hat in reverent submission.

What do you mean back to the basics this is phenomenal? I mean look at it!!! You must be making a fortune my renders look nothing like this. How do you get such an un-sharp and greatened render? Couldnt give us a few pointers could you? The only thing I would say is that the lighting on the front tree done not look as good as the other ones. But apart from that a stunning image!!! Keep up the supreme work!!!!!
