I like using PSP and Poser, doing crafts, writing stories, collecting and making miniatures, refinishing furniture, gardening, and playing on my computer. Anything done on a computer is playing to me. Does anyone know how to upgrade to the 36 hour day?
The Phantom was a bicycle popular in the 1950's it came in red, green and black.

i honestly wouldn't know how to go about giving you any potentially helpful words regarding the actual modeling, however, i can say the following:
1 - the stein looks to be richly textured, but it's a bit too far away for my old eyes to see properly... a closer look, perhaps?
2 - nice touch with the hints of rust on the bands of the barrel. i love details of this nature.
3 - i recall several years ago spending at least an hour and a half trying to find just the right [baby bear] barrel for something i was mucking about with. never underestimate the necessity of what may seem like a pointless prop... there is no such thing, i swear!! hehe
4 - i envy your patience and ability TO model. i've a severely old PC at this point thus am equally limited as to what may run on her; but even if i had a screaming Mimi machine, i'm pretty sure i would still not be able to model, so good on you :))
Thanks for your comments. Something I'm working on for all my images is adding details, like the rust. And there's no such thing as pointless props. All those little things add to the scenes.
auh, my rationale for saying there is no such thing as a pointless prop goes something like this:
just because one has not been able to imagine how to use a thing does not render [pun intended] a thing as pointless or useless. it simply means that one needs to dream bigger and more creatively... :))
Your 3D modeling is superb, but the textures could be improved. The textures for the man and his clothing are perfect, and the textures for the shop and the barrel are too good, but the background textures aren't as the same high quality, and I would suggest blurring the entire background.
Thanks for the suggestion. I should have turned on the depth of field, but I didn't think of it.
The barrel looks quite nice both model and texture wise :)
If you want to bring a bit more details to it, perhaps show the overlap of the metal pieces and the nails/screws they use to hold the metal rings in place. And maybe a spot to put the bung hole
Oo that's a great idea. Details are always important. thanks
@RedPhantom NP! :)
