Description
After a short hiaitus, we turn to Richard II...
"For God’s sake, let us sit upon the ground
And tell sad stories of the death of kings;"

(something of nightmare to render; my backup rig hasn't the power to cope with the volumetrics very well. I was hoping to do a close up too, but not managed to obtain a satifactory one. I'll run the machine overnight and see what it comes up with...)

Superb bright (intellectually speaking !) creation.
wisdom through the ages
Très belle lumière.
most excellent moody image.
This is a beautiful creation...congrats on getting the volumetric lighting to come out looking so good! :-)
Wonderful work!
Now if only I could do the Volumetric's how you have them here I could happily retire. Darn fine work and a fave for me :)
Surprisingly easy to set up; I used a volume prop that contains the dust particles, lit from one end with a spot light outside the window to get the shadows. The real porblem i found was its VERY resource hungry and my current rig struggled (hence the smudginess of some parts of the omage ). Once i can get my RTX up and running again (whenever that might be!) I'll try anothewr version on higher settings...
Original staging for a tragedy.
Hi, I can only connect...
Great render, lighting and mood :)

Amazing work with the volumetrics, Joe! You really nailed it. This is giving me some ideas.... And my computer is worried... Always pushing the limits.
Image sensational . Nice work!!!!!! 👍🙋♂️
Absolutely haunting Joe. the light here is a character on its own, and might be the one in conversation with the lamenting woman. Wonderful atmosphere. :)
