Each artist chooses their lighting choice. I personally would have exagerated that blue ceiling light to wash a bit of overhead spotlight on the girl descending the stair. But your choice for more contrast make perfect sense.

Yes I did have the blue light brighter but lost the silhouette effect of the girl in red. In the end it is a balancing act, Thank you for the feed back.
