Description
A Fairchild C-119 "Flying Boxcar" taxis to it's parking spot.
First flight in 1947, the C-119 was deployed in the Korean War ferrying supplies in a and about the war theater. Some 1100 aircraft were made and wound up in various countries' air forces. The last U.S. military use was in 1974.
The C-119 model is by Pedro Caparros and can be found generously for free on ShareCG as well as quite a few other aircraft (a great resource to use as is or customize to taste!)
Blender, DazStudio, PsE for final touch-ups, no AI was used or abused in the process of creating this artwork.

An iconic aircraft. Pedro doesn't seem to make any more models. The dust makes the picture more credible. Well made.

The dust and the background activity make this. - Bob

Great image of this old beauty! Worked on the comms on a few of these back in the day. I was in the Air Force from '68 - '72. I always thought the 119s were just a cool looking aircraft. If I remember, they modified one or two of these as flying gun platforms with rotary cannons firing out one side.
I'll have to drop by ShareCG and grab this and a few others.

A fabulous old workhorse that saw a lot of service worldwide. I am glad that there are two still in flying condition in Alaska.

The lighting, shadows and flying dust all merge to sell a very realistic snapshot render.
