Interesting procession. Some sort of holiday or event for them?
The feast of Our Lady of Graces
Great and vibrant Images! Is that true, that the Cloth tells about the Age, Provenience and Wealth? And what is a "Berrita"? Thanks to let us take part!
Berritta is a male hat and every town has its own costumes.. In my town, the ones in black are the widows, the ones with the blue and white veil, the married woman, the unmarried ones had a white veil.
@nemesis74s Ah! Thanks for letting me know

Thanks for the CarificationI found this here, which seem to point - astounishingly - as Origin to Greece: https://sardegna.italiaguida.it/en/costumi-tradizionali-sardi Are they wear these regularily?
No, nowadays only folk groups wear costumes at events: processions and shows (they dance our traditional dances). Once upon a time everyone wore them. The origin is Spanish: we had 300 years of Spanish domination.
Ups, I was focussing on the "Peplus"! OK, I see I have to learn a lot of History of Sardinia!
