very moving and emotional work. great job Ute. ,
No one knows what the future holds, but hopefully there will be something good in theirs!
It's easier to deal with fear when you have someone close to you, hold your hand! Great as always Ute! :-)
Stressful times and you captured it very well !
Ahwww. Poor kids. Good image, shows emotions. - Bob
Nice ones, the world is crazy.
As it says in the great book "suffer not the little children" but every time I look at the NEWS on the BOX what do I see Young children with fear in to their faces little food next to no clean water and all about the Angel of Death or a human stands over them it s time for all wars to stop Love the render
Woooooww........Outstanding work Ute!!!!👍🙋♂️
Great looking image. Expressions are really good.
This is powerful work!
So filled with emotions with these two young ones. Fabulous job.
Really well done images, Ute. I think they reflect the uncertainty we all feel these days with all the lunatics running countries. I'm scared s**tless about what happens in November here in the USA.
VOTE BLUE! 😁
Certainly reflective...
Such sad images, but they are all well done hon!
your images of war and loss are all very powerful, as always. This series has two children clutching each other for protection against the horrors of the world. You've made their hair very timeless---in fact, in many ways they have "renaissance" hair, the kinds of curls that Michelangelo made in his sculptures. It makes them ancient, and timeless...but also very real for today. Terrific detail. In some of the images, the children are more scared than in others; in others, they're more into holding each other. In all cases, there is dearness in their portrayal, yet we're aware that---just beyond the frame---war goes on. (Ukraine, Gaza, Africa, etc.)
And the last image is two different children (again, you give us a total change in your final image): They clutch each other in a deep forest...And, while the forest is beautiful, we don't know what terrors lurk in it, or just beyond it. A touching and beautifully done series. And fine job on the children's torn clothing, and the powerful light coming from outside the frame...
First of all I want to thank you for all your great comments on some of my latest artworks, this one is one of my fave ones and it let me think about all our children and grand-children. Your visit is an honour for me and I wish you and yours all the best, take care and stay save my very special friend! Gentle hug's from far away, Ute
