Rex's unlucky hunting streak is over and after several days of not eating he has more than enough to keep him fed for a while. He has to eat fairly quickly, knowing that the scent of blood will draw many other predators and scavengers, and he may have to fight to keep his kill. Most will wait until he is finished because he is not only a T. Rex, he's a bigger than average T. Rex. His main worry would be another bigger than average T. Rex or other species, smaller but working in a group. With that in mind he rips and gulps his meal, eager to fill himself as fast as possible.
