Description

This is my first image to be uploaded to Renderosity. It was created and rendered in Rhinoceros for a Rhino 3D Forum contest, with the topic "insect". Compositing and text were done in Photoshop. I'm very happy with the way it turned out (especially the eyes), aside from a few little glitches.

Very nice! I would try to make the wing cases look more like they're comp, etely attached to the body when they're closed. Otherwise, this'll be a flawless victory.

Teyon: Yeah, I noticed that after I finished, and it was too late to fix. The body comes out really close to the wing cases further back under the wings, so I could not just reshape the cases, I'd have to redo the body. I still think it turned out great!
