Calogera is a surname and girl's given name of Greek and Italian origin, and the feminine version of Calogero. Derived from the Greek elements kalos, meaning “good,” and geron, meaning “old,” or “old man,” it translates to “man with good old age.” It was used as a familiar term for a monk.Feb 22, 2023
Great capture!
Nice capture!
Interesting info and excellent photo of these fishing boats.
Thanks for explaining the etymology of the name. In my school there was a Calogero (surname) he was the biggest and thickest and for this reason I never thought to investigate further. These port images are awesome!
Very fine photo!
Lovely shot of the water with all the boats. Nice word origin explanation too :D
