Totally awesome! You always have such expressive poses for the reference doll. Love the bird skull, nice touch.

crrunchyfrog couldn't have said it better. A wonderful set finished off with a beautifully rendered and emotionally complex piece. Well done Bev!

I am sure you have your reasons for feeling it's time to cut this series but word of heart... The more Ilook at this one especially, the more i'd love it to never end. It's like John said. it's so deep, so real. I feel if I close eyes and reopen, I'll see them slightly moved on, and alive :)

I believe that there is some significance in the fact that the skull depicted above does not escape the two dimensional plain, while the mask and wooden man do. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, though.

The art seeks to interpret and ascribe meaning to the world, humanity, its works, and even to existence itself. Very beautiful, very powerful image.

Manequins texture (i. e. the way Yoy did it) reminds me old masters. Unimitable series. Words are not enough to express the impression here!

The artist reflects on the responsibilities that come with her bringing forth her creations into the world? I can hear the mannequin asking ' am I real yet', a bit like Pinocchio wishing to be a Real Boy I like the paradox of the face drawn on the mask to which the mannequin looks for qualification. Neat!.

As I go through your gallery, I cant help but be absolutely taken away by every single piece youve done. Each one pulls at heart strings and the imagination.
