Though I trained in traditional art, especialy pencil, pen and ink and charcoal, I have since turned to CG 3D art in 2005. My main software apps are PoserPro, Vue Infinite and Photoshop.
Paleoart, fantasy and sci-fi are my main drives. I enjoy landscapes and enjoy storytelling as well. And of course the PIn-ups. Gotta love'em.
As far as what I like, I try not to have favorites as there are so many things to like.
Other interests are music. Live and studio engineer since 1989 and love playing piano, organ and synthesizers.

With all those tress no wonder it took so long to render, lol. I've crashed my own version of Vue Studio a few times by adding too many objects. Great looking image bud, a fine view of Pine Lake, cheers... 🐉

NIIICE! You always did have a massive amount of skill with Vue... I miss playing with it. I still have 10, and it kinda-sorta works, but I can't seem to get it to "talk" to all the extra stuff I got for it back in the day... Unfortunately I can't go the subscription route.. I've pretty much reached my sub limit with Adobe and MS..
Anyway, enough whining.... This is really a magnificent scene, Art! Those new tricks seem to be working despite the render times..

A superb landscape very really looking ,sometimes I find you can help things a long a bit on a big scene like this reducing the population density a bit can knock of a few thousand instances and it looks virtually no different also for something like the trees in the distance you may have something lower poly you could use (unless of course you already did that)if the colours a bit different use the material editor and copy the overall colour of the higher poly stuff on to the lower poly stuff in the back ground it will save quite a bit.Its how I get my renders to work with what looks like loads of quixel grass thats very resource heavy ,when in fact the further away from the camera there is more and more low poly Vue grass mixed in but using the overall colour of the quixel grass. Something to thi k about perhaps,.Myself I'm happy if my render is finished within 24 hours

Way excellent result! I know all about those long render times from years ago. I can't wait to get back into it!
